Many of us are still waiting on God for something. The important thing while waiting is to not give up. The moment God hears your prayers He answers them; however, there's a process before you receive it. There could be many reasons why God allows you to wait. Remember that delayed doesn't always mean denied. Perhaps there are some things you need to get in order before you receive that blessing you've been praying about. Ask God to get you ready physically and mentally so that when the blessing arrive you'll know how to handle it appropriately. God is always on time and you just have to trust that when He does release that blessing that it's going to be right on time.

It's Good To Know Jesus
This song brings back memories of when I use to sing in the church choir many many years ago. Back then to me these were just words I needed to learn in order to sing the song. It wasn't until I became grown that these words truly held meaning in my life. It is very good to know Jesus. I honestly don't know where my life would be without knowing Him as my Father. I've formed a relationship with Him that makes me want to know more and more about Him. The more I learn about God the more fulfilled my life becomes. You can never too much about Him. Actually, you can study the same scripture over and over and each time you'll get something different from it. That's why it's so important to keep studying the word of God. Do you know God? Is He your Father? Do you love the relationship you have with Him? If so, then you can truly relate to how I feel knowing God as my Savior, my Father, and my Waymaker.
His Grace And Mercy
Do you really know the significance of God's Grace and His Mercy and what it means in our lives? If not allow me to explain why we all have something to shout about. God's Grace is what He gives to us each and every day. Grace is God giving us things that we really don't deserve because truthfully we can never do anything to deserve all the grace God gives to us. The little things we tend to take for granted and don't miss until it's gone like the use of our legs and arms and sight. That's only because of God's grace in our lives. Now, mercy is something different. Mercy is God's way of protecting us from things that we really do deserve, but because of God. Those things that make you say that could've been me, but because of His mercy. These are the gifts God give to His children. Don't take God's grace and mercy for granted. Thank Him each and every day for these precious gifts.
Reverend Timothy Wright - Jesus, Jesus, Jesus (Katrina Song)
I don't know about you, but somedays Jesus is the only name I can think to call. Have you ever had those days where it seemed that everything that could go wrong did go wrong or better yet, have you ever had something to happen to you and you know it had to be God? Those are the times when all you can do is say Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Just saying His name seems to stir up something inside that nothing else can. God is an awesome God and the price Jesus paid for us on the cross so many years ago is certainly worth taking a few minutes just to acknowledge Him for who He is and what He means to you.

What's the Purpose of the Church?

I remember when I was growing up my dad being a pastor would drag us from church to church on Sundays. I often wondered back then, why are we doing this? What's the purpose of going to church anyway? Isn't God everywhere, and if so, why can't we talk and sing at home? The only answer I ever received was the infamous, "because we said so." Of course that answer didn't sit too well with me, but I accepted it. I never thought about that until last Sunday when I, myself, was faced with that same question from a very unhappy 7 year old when we were dressing for church on Sunday. I started to give him the same answer that I received so many years ago, but I felt he deserved better, like I did :-). So, for all those parents who may have the task of answering "What's the purpose of church?" If you're like me you want to be ready and loaded with an answer that'll make sense to the little ones. So, here's a list to choose from:
1. Church is where we go to worship God. Be careful not to say praise because we can praise Him at home, but worship takes place in church.
2.The church is the place where you go to learn more about God and His promises, from people who've thoroughly studied His word and His teaching.
3. The church is the place where believers gather to partake in the Lord's Supper. We believe that this ritual brings us closer to God by sharing of his blood and body.
4. The church is the place where we go to be ministered to and helped.
So, the question is "what is the purpose of the church?" Paul gave an excellent illustration to the believers in Corinth. The church is God’s hands, mouth, and feet in this world—the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). We are to be doing the things that Jesus Christ would do if He were here physically on the earth. The church is to be “Christian,” “Christ-like,” and Christ-following.---www.gotquestions.org

Determination is the Key to Success
Some may argue that hard work is the key to success, and yet others may say that it's faith that helps people to succeed, and my answer would be that those people are absolutely right; however, you won't have either of these things without determination. You have to make up in your mind that you are going to succeed. You also have to be aware that there will be trails along the way, getting to the top is never an easy task; however, if you're determined, then you will get there. Just remember why you started on this road in the first place. For me, it was my family that gives me my drive each and every day. I'm determined to work hard so that my children will one day be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I shouldn't have to tell my kids no because of lack of funds. Which doesn't mean I'll never tell them no, but money won't be a factor. I also want my family and I to travel to new places and see new things. I know that I can do that if I continue on the path that I'm on. I've had doors shut in my face, and people turn me down left and right, but I'm still determined to keep going. No one or nothing will stir me off course. I know the future God has for me, and it's a future filled with abundance, happiness, and health. I challenge you to make up your mind today that you're determined to see your dreams become reality. It happens to people around the world every day, why not you?

When Things Go Wrong, As They Sometimes Will..

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
